We were contracted to carry out all the preparation works for the installation of an Otis lift that was going to service ground plus 4 floors. Works involved demolish existing structure at the base where the lift would be located. Also carrying out the necessary openings at each floor level to make space where the lift doors would be located. Building a concrete slab and lift pit to house the lift shaft.
Building in the terrace a glass an aluminium pathway and storeroom area in order to allow the lift to reach the top. Assisting the Otis technician through the installation process. Besides Otis technical structural and lift installation the rest was carried out by MBC. Project took 6 months.
